I’m hoping some of you can help me out with this one- I could have SWORN that I heard a commercial on 103.3 advertising a $50 certificate to Crow’s Nest for $25 as the next half-price hookup. If you’re interested in getting involved in the community, here’s your chance! Monday is National Day of Service, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, and Kalamazoo is a huge participant. You can spend this day volunteering your time at a number of local non-profits. If you’re interested, you’ll need to go to City Hall (241 W. South Street) at 8 am. There, you’ll be able to look over the various work sites available and sign up to contribute at one! Volunteer hours are 8:30 am- 3 pm (though not all projects are necessarily all-day events).
